Liquid Laundry Detergent

I finally had time to try out a recipe for liquid laundry detergent and I am happy to report that it works really well. The formula makes 5 gallons of detergent with just one bar of pure soap and a little bit of borax and washing soda - all available at the grocery store. I will give you more details a little later.

    Hi. This sounds like a recipe I'd be very much interested in; do you know whether or not it can be used in HE washing machines? Thanks.

      I have a top loader so I haven't tried this in an HE machine, however, I have been told that others use it and it works very well as this product does not produce suds, and I think that is the issue with HE machines. I would definately try it!
